Kroma Hill is a reconstruction of 9th–13th century Latgalian tribal fortifications. With prior booking, visitors can view and try on reconstructions of ancient Latgalian clothing, jewellery, and weaponry.

Since 2012, the association “Kroma kolna bruoliste” has been active at Kroma Hill. The association educates the public using experimental archaeology methods, bringing medieval crafts and everyday life situations to life.

One of the most interesting events organised by the association is the Kroma Hill Festival, usually held on the third Saturday of August.
