The name Jaša’s Pots comes from the nearby Jaša River, and the ceramics workshop has been operating since 2015, creating surprisingly vibrant, durable, and ergonomic stoneware and porcelain dishes and jewelry.

The items are grouped into collections: the turquoise-blue Sea, the vintage Ulmanis-Era Blue Flowers, the bright yellow leopard-inspired Africa, and the black-and-white River in Winter.

In Aizkalne, the workshop welcomes tourist groups of 20 to 40 people during the summer season, offering the chance to enjoy the tranquility of a countryside homestead, its neat surroundings, and the charm of rural revival. This workshop carries out the full ceramic process—from clay preparation to glazing and firing. It boasts modern equipment, including clay processing machines, electric kilns, and a Raku kiln used for creating artistic pieces.

In Preiļi, at Kārsavas Street 4, there is a shop-studio where anyone can stop by for a souvenir, a gift, or to observe daily processes and wheel-throwing. The cozy space with a large parking area in the very center of town is ideal for holding workshops for 3 to 12 people.

The studio shares its activities on Instagram and Facebook, and its products are available for purchase online at jasaspodi.com.
