Approximately 500 m outside the city in the direction of Daugavpils “Ošu mājas” is located, owners are engaged in not quite traditional, unusual for Latgale, and modern agricultural production – the cultivation of Helicidae (or wine/grape) snails.
Arriving at this place, you will get acquainted with the life of snails, see the place where they grow, as well as hear an interesting story about the owner of these unusual creatures. In conclusion of interesting, tasting snails will also take place, it turns out, there are many ways to cook them!
