The Museum of Dolls was founded by Preiļi artist Jeļena Mihailova, who within a year’s time has managed to create around 150 dolls. All of them are original artworks, made by the artist herself.

Dolls are displayed in different interiors, each of them having their own story to tell. The backyard is well-landscaped, there are many miniature castles with gorgeous towers, bridges, water mills, and other decorations. Visitors are welcomed to take pictures. Visitors can also use the opportunity to dress in costumes of princes and princesses.
