The main axis of theAugšdaugava region is the Daugava River, which winds in picturesque bends. From the riverbanks, vast landscape views open up to a unique valley, where a castle was historically built, and the shores are surrounded by local cultural and historical sites.

The boat Dinaburga began its journey along the scenic “River of Destiny” on April 30, 2022. It is an excellent opportunity to experience the cultural and historical heritage and see the most beautiful and sight-rich section of the Daugava with your own eyes.

The boat is equipped with transparent fold-down walls, cabin heating, an audio system, blankets for cooler days, and an always-smiling captain.
During the trip, the captain will share interesting stories about the local surroundings, historical events, and cultural sites; it is also possible to arrange a local guide.
The boat is available for organised student and tourist groups, corporate events, various celebrations, and weddings.
The boat can accommodate 20 passengers and the captain simultaneously.
On weekdays, the boat operates upon request, while on weekends it follows a schedule available on the website or social media accounts.

The boat trip will begin in the territory of the “Daugavas Loki” campsite at Daugavsargu Bend, during which you will explore the most scenic and attraction-rich section of the Daugava River.
