It seems incredible, but in Zilupe you can enjoy grown here melons and watermelons. If you want to see how in our latitudes one can grow these southern fruits, you should visit the farm of Ilga and Yuri Ivanov. Here you will not only be treated with the garden goods (after August 6) but also will be offered a jam made from pine cones. In the family courtyard home have found many species of birds, the owners are particularly proud of such kind of birds as the hoopoe. The visit must be arranged in advance.
