In the surroundings of the mountain Sauleskalns one can enjoy incredibly beautiful nature – at its foot is the deepest lake in the Baltic States – Dridzis. From the top of the mountain, you can see many lakes in the surrounding area. It is natural values that attract people here.

Offer:

two trails for winter recreation: the Big Mountain trail for experienced skiers and snowboarders, with the possibility to descend from the mountain with a length of 700 m;
a small slide with a lift for children and those who take their first steps on the mountainside.

Equipment rental is available (ski equipment and snowboards). There are two experienced ski instructors on the track – Ilmārs Solims (+371 28240303), Jekaterina Lacka (+371 26440251) and a snowboarding instructor – Jānis Krūmiņš (+371 26633062). All instructors are fluent in Latvian, Russian, and English. These people will teach anyone to ski or snowboard and truly enjoy the winter.
